About Us

We are the Irish Branch of the leading international organisation dedicated to alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

This is a one stop shop which will assist you in the resolution of any dispute, wherever they occur or whatever their nature or  in finding out more about ADR and its many potential applications in the settlement of disputes.

You are visiting the Dispute Resolution Centre of Ireland!  Established in 1981 with a permanent Secretariat in Dublin.

On this site you will find all the information you need to resolve your dispute and a range of means for doing so quickly, privately and in most cases at considerably less expense than going to law or the courts.

No dispute is too small or too large, and we offer a range of interventions; investigations, mediation, arbitration, adjudication or expert determination by trained and specialised professionals; all of which are more fully explained on this dispute resolution centre site

You may wish to join us as a practitioner in the field of alternative dispute resolution and we would be delighted to welcome you on to one of the pathways to membership about which you will also find more on this site.

The list of names forming the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Irish Branch) Panel of Adjudicators is now available to view on our website (www.ciarb.ie), along with a short career profile. These Adjudicators are all fellows of the CIArb, have construction dispute resolution experience and have all completed CIArb accredited adjudication courses or diplomas. The Panel is prepared by the CIArb, Irish Branch. The Branch is satisfied that those on the list have the necessary qualifications to act as Adjudicators. The Branch does not accept any responsibility because an Adjudication is conducted by any member of the Panel. The following are the names on the Panel of Adjudicators, in alphabetical order.
