Thomas Wren

Having trained and qualified as a quantity surveyor in Limerick, Tom Wren holds BCL and LLM honours degrees from UCC. He is a Registered Surveyor, Accredited Mediator (Friarylaw) and is on the Law Society's and CIF's disputes resolution panels. He has extensive experience of claims and disputes resolution having practiced in 10 jurisdictions including the EU, USA, Middle East, India, Malaysia and Hong Kong, with previous appointments as expert witness, arbitrator and conciliator in Ireland. He gave the CIF's training days in Munster on the PWC contracts, 2006-08 and is the author of 'Public Works in Ireland: Procurement and Contracting', published by Clarus Press in 2014, which includes an extensive chapter on disputes resolution. He has had occasional articles published in 'Arbitration' and in the Society of Chartered Surveyors 'Review'. His practice base is in County Limerick.
